I love where this is going!

A few thoughts:

- The "Diplomacy" tab lights up when it shouldn't - specifically, when you have enough influence for a relation, but not a high enough settlement level.

- The quests create a weird counter-incentive to upgrading too quickly. If I build an expensive building while waiting for a new quest, and then the quest pops up asking me to build that same building, it's frustrating. It makes me want to just wait and not upgrade anything while I'm waiting for quests to appear, which isn't much fun.

- It'd be nice to be able to click and drag buildings to move them, without needing the dedicated "move" tool. Clicking and dragging currently does nothing, other than moving the booster, but since that can be placed anywhere just by clicking, that functionality isn't really needed.

- A number of tools increase happiness, but happiness doesn't appear anywhere on the screen when the "tools" menu is open, so there's no immediate feedback. You have to go view the happiness before, then buy the upgrade, then check it again after. Maybe happiness could be displayed in a little box at the top of the screen?

- It'd be nice if I could hover over a resource to see the income rate per second, or hover over a building to see its current production rate . That'd be especially helpful when trying to decide where to put the booster, or how to rearrange buildings for maximum effectiveness.

- Could you increase the maximum zoom-out? I can't quite zoom out enough to see the whole island at once after buying the size upgrade. I have a big screen, so everything is pretty big even at max zoom.

- Are you looking for beta testers?

Thank you for the detailed feedback! I'll definitely fix the Diplomacy bug, and I'll see if I can do something about the other points but I don't want to promise anything because there may be some technical or design limitations.

Regarding beta testers, I would appreciate a couple more. If you're interested in trying an early version of the full game, send me a key request email to lukas.osouch@gmail.com and mention you're from Itch. But I still need to do quite a bit more work on the full version, so I may take a few weeks to respond. Thank you for understanding.

Some happy gameplay, a hint of critique ;)

what a great game, wonderful!

pretty fun! didnt feel too micro-heavy and had enough base-designing to keep me engaged. the terrain feels natural-shaped but maybe we could do de/re-forest/rock/land/water-ation to opmitize the land :p
